The Vermont Anchor Replacement Initiative started in 2014 to deal with the growing number of corroding bolts and anchor materials in the Bolton Valley area. A successful first year saw 146 bolts replaced and a significant grant award from the joint Access Fund-American Alpine Club anchor replacement program.
